A ninja is shot dead by police and his demonic spirit invades the body of an aerobics instructor.
Lucinda Dickey, fresh off Breakin', carries the film with a performance that somehow grounds the absolute insanity happening around her.
The aerobics sequences don't exist to add comic relief. They exist because this is 1984 and someone at Cannon looked at ninja action, possession horror, and fitness culture and decided they all belonged in the same film.
NINJA III: THE DOMINATION (1984) doesn't know what it is and doesn't care. There's no winking, no apology. There's just forward momentum, neon lighting, and a woman channeling a dead ninja's rage through an aerobics routine.
This is Cannon Films at peak derangement: the Golan-Globus machine running on adrenaline, Day-Glo, and synthesizers. Featuring some of the most aggressively 80s production design ever committed to film, Ninja III: The Domination is camp and craft in perfect chaos.

A classic
The scene where she kills the guy in the hot tub with the ring has lived rent free in my head for 40 years.
Thank you Dad for letting us pick out whatever we wanted at the video store. It made the 80s summers with you awesome
So good
I own the blu ray. Good times.
Classic! Really well done movie.
I’m sorry but this and Revenge of the Ninja are my childhood. Love them
Now I’ll be watching this again today. Thanks a lot
It’s the love child of Revenge of the Ninja and Death Spa
Sounds incredible.
If a ninja is shot by police he’s not a very good ninja 😂
One of the truly great BAD movies 😂
